The altars are carved wood date from the end of the 18th century and its treasures include 16th-century paintings by Gregório Lopes. The place is quite romantic, surrounded by the castle walls and gardens, and the church is often chosen for wedding cerimonies. It stands within the fortified walls of the Torres Vedras Castle and can only be visited during the religious services.
